How the Omicron BF-7 variant has affected travel guidelines worldwide

At the beginning of this new year, 2023, the Covid pandemic is again trying to spread over with its new variant BF-7. The videos coming from China could be better, and the Country's healthcare system is already overburdened. Each Country has its data of covid infected people after completing the Sero Survey results.
As per the New York Times, each age group, the number of people per 100,000 that were newly admitted to a hospital with Covid-19 each day, according to data reported by hospitals to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

Japan has more than 4 million covid patients; the U.S. has more than 1.6 million covid patients. Hong Kong has approx 26.9L active omicron cases.

Travel Updates in Canada:

Two years of age and older, arriving from the People's Republic of China, Hong Kong or Macau, must show a negative COVID-19 test result and take at most 2 days before their departure to the airline to board their flight. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, Canada has taken action to limit the introduction and spread of the virus in our Country.

Travel Updates in the USA

From 5 January, people have to submit their covid negative report who are flying from China, Hong Kong, or Macau, or who have been in these areas in the past 10 days and are flying from Incheon International Airport (ICN) in Seoul, Republic of Korea. The report should be latest updated within the last 2 days. The government also suggested that Americans avoid travelling to China, Hong Kong and Macau. There is also an option for people who have documented recovery from COVID-19 in the past 90 days. Travel Updates in the UK

The U.K. has also updated the same pattern as the USA. You must take a COVID-19 test at most 2 days before you travel. Travel Updates in France

Same as the USA but the government has started checking on airports from 1st Jan. France has renewed its mandatory mask rule for people coming from China.

Travel Updates in India

Most countries have made it essential to submit the covid test report for people coming from China. In contrast, the Indian Health Ministry has announced that people coming from certain High-risk countries (China, Hongkong, Japan, South Korea, Singapore and Thailand) have to upload their RT-PCR Report at the airport health portal before arriving in India.

Travel Updates in Japan

Travellers must submit their covid report; if they are found infected, they must be in quarantine for a week. The new travel updates were active from 30 December. The number of flights to China will also decrease. Children under 18 who travel with triple-vaccinated parents/guardians are also exempt from the test.
