• Designated Learning Institute

To apply for a study visa, you should apply for a university or college that a provincial or territorial government approves to host international students. You should check online to see if your selected college is on the list of designated learning institutions by province/territory.

• Letter of Acceptance

The first step in applying for a Canadian study permit from Korea is to get a Letter of Acceptance from a Canadian Designated Learning Institute (DLI). A prospective student may first apply for a DLI to receive an LOA. If the applicant is accepted, the organisation may issue a Letter of Acceptance.

• Calculate GPA for Study Permit

Each university has its Grading system, and if you are applying for a Doctor's degree from Korea, you should have the minimum required grade defined by that particular university. The Canada scoring value varies from 4.0 to 9.0 in terms of grades.

Process For Express Entry Program

Express Entry is the fastest pathway to Canada for International skilled workers. Three programs are described under the Canada Express Entry System.

• Canadian Experience Class

Canadian work experience grants extra points (up to 80) in the CRS Express Entry system. Korean employers with prior Canadian work experience often choose the CEC program for quick Canadian PR.

• Federal Skilled Worker Program

For FSWP, it's important to know that your eligibility for the Canadian PR will depend on six selection factors that will impact your score in the Express Entry pool. • Federal Skilled Trade Program

Calculating CRS Score
